Sears Breaks Guinness Superman World Record

The highly-anticipated Superman film "Man of Steel" (I'll be providing a review of the film on Friday!) debuts this Friday, June 13th, and numerous businesses have eagerly participated in the film's promotion. Among those businesses is Sears, who is tying in their Father's Day promotions with "Man of Steel" and appearing in the film itself.

As if that wasn't enough, Sears also sought to break the Guinness World Record for largest gathering of people dressed as Superman. They managed to smash the previous record of 347 people by having 566 gather at their Illinois corporate headquarters, dressed in the new "Man of Steel" costume.
