Sears just announced their infamous Sears Wish Book is making a return this year.  First launched in 1933, the Sears Wish Book was a kid's direct line to Santa.  But it wasn't all toys, usually around 400 pages (the new one will be about 120), there was a bunch of merchandise for mom and dad as well.  Canceled in 2011 so that Sears could focus more on online sales, it's coming back this year!  For those of you around in 1975, remember the controversy over the male underwear model in the big Sears Catalog that year?  The picture in question was on page 602, was that really his, well you know?  Today, you will know the truth.

In 1975, people were talking about the Sears Catalog, the focus, page 602.  A male underwear model, wearing boxers, appeared to be showing more than just underwear.  By the way, to this day, Sears has never revealed his name.  He would probably be in his seventies.

Was it a smear on the printing plate?  Was it real?  Was the catalog recalled?  Today is your lucky day as we will get to the tip of this controversy.
