A Louisiana student was arrested this week after she allegedly gave drug induced gummies to a fellow classmate.

According to WBRZ, 18-year-old Cierra Rucker gave THC laced treats to a 16-year-old student, who ultimately ended up in the hospital.

Arrest documents say that the student who fell ill had a bad reaction to the treats given to them.

Initially, Rucker denied giving anything to the student who fell ill, but upon further investigation by the school, they found Rucker had two bags of contraband gummies as well as a vape pen (which was later found to contain marijuana) on her.

WBRZ reports that investigators also found various texts message between Rucker and other students where she agreed to supply them with the snacks that were laced.

According to the East Baton Rouge Parish Jades System, the 18-year-old student was booked on various charges, and let out of jail on the same day she was booked.
