(New Orleans, Louisiana) - ESPN's Stephen A Smith lit a social media feud between himself and the New Orleans Pelicans after he made comments about an allegeded addiciton Zion Williamson.

If you follow the NBA and the Pelicans, you know that Zion Williamson, who was once thought to be the savior for New Orleans, has had trouble staying healthy and being on the court for the start of his professional career.

Well, that topic recently came up on an ESPN show, and Stephen A Smith alluded to the fact that Williamson may not be able to stay healthy because of a food addiction. Yes, we've all seen Williamson's weight fluctuation during his time in the league, but does he really have an addiction to food? If he does, is it any of our business?

Here's Stephen A bringing up Zion's addiction to food, which sparked the online feud between the Pelicans and the sports personality.

Why are Stephen A. Smith and The Pelicans Feuding

After these comments aired on ESPN and went viral on social media, the New Orleans Pelicans responded with their own video, which shows the sports personality struggling on the court.

The Pelicans also took a shot at Stephen A when they referred to the game on your phone, solitaire. If you don't know, the famous sports talking head was caught a few years back playing the game on his phone while at an NBA Finals game.

After this video from the Pelicans was posted, Stephen A. Smith couldn't contain himself, and he responded once again. This time, the sports personality alluded to the fact that he may be more popular than anyone on the Pelicans team, outside of Zion.

He wouldn't stop there; Stephen A. Smith would then bring up the New Orleans Pelicans' lack of success and even noted their value, which is near the bottom among all NBA teams.

Can you tell that this has gotten personal? Let me be fair here, Stephen A says that this isn't about the city of New Orleans or about the people in the city, it's between him and the organization.
