Man’s Best Friend Until The End: Dog Guards Owner’s Body

The Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office released this photo after Monday's deadly tornado commenting on the pup's survival.  Later, they realize that the pup was guarding a body, possibly its deceased owner.

So many sights of sorrow and destruction coming from Oklahoma that it is refreshing to see sights of survival and determination. I do not have children, so my pets are the closest thing living under my roof that compare to having children.  I know for you parents pet ownership is a pale comparison, but it is the only comparison I have.

According to the Oklahoma County Sheriff Office's Facebook page the officer who found the pup is planning to adopt it if no one proves ownership.
