Louisiana Alert: Wild Animal Spotted Roaming Near Populated Area
(Youngsville, Louisiana) - A wild animal was spotted roaming near Youngsville and now we want you to be aware of this threat.
Scott Bienvenu posted a video of this animal, which may be a bobcat or Lynx, and as you can see in the video below the animal seems to be searching for its next prey.
In the viral video post, Scott says while they were working near Detente Rd. in Youngsville, the large animal came out of the woods and was pacing in circles. Some commenting on the Facebook post expressed concerns for the animal's health as it appears to be walking in circles, however, some suggested it may be walking as such because it is hunting for food.
We wanted to share this with you so that you are aware of this animal in the area. And yes, we know that in Louisiana there are wild animals everywhere, but if you have small kids or small pets you most certainly want to keep an eye on them when they are outdoors.
Again, according to Scott's post on social media, this large animal was spotted off Detente Rd. So, if you live in that area of Acadiana please be aware of this animal, and if you know someone who lives in the area make sure to notify them of this potential threat in their backyard.
Here's a look at either a large bobcat or Lynx roaming in a field near Youngsville.
