(Youngsville, Louisiana) - A Youngsville couple needs your help in identifying a person who they say stole tools and a credit card from one of their vehicles.

Photos shared by Layni Albarado on social media show the alleged thief in their yard on the night when one of their vehicles was broken into. Layani tells me the person walked away with tools from their vehicle and needs them back.

In addition to stealing the tools from this residence, police say that a credit card was stolen from another location and used at a store to purchase food.

Youngsville residents believe the person who allegedly stole from them is from the area, as reports have surfaced that he was spotted at a McDonald's nearby.

If you recognize the person in the photos shared here, you are asked to contact the Youngsville Police Department at (337) 856-5931

Here are more pictures of the person who allegedly walked away with what wasn't his off of Guillot Rd. The items stolen in this case were taken at 4 am on Wednesday, October 22, 2025.

How To Prevent Theft

Police remind all of us to slow down when exiting our vehicles and to make sure all doors are locked before walking away. In addition to locking your vehicle, police encourage you to never leave anything valuable in your car or truck, and never leave anything in plain sight that may tempt a would-be thief to break into your vehicle.

If possible, remember to always park in a well-lit area, as light can sometimes deter crime.

Remember, never leave anything valuable in your vehicle. Thieves often look for items like guns and phones to sell on the streets for profit.
