Lafayette’s Duhon and Conque Revamp Song to Fit the New America
Riots, demonstrations, a pandemic, America is different than she was just a year ago. Local songwriting team Dana Duhon and Lance Conque have taken a song they wrote for 9/11 called "One Voice" and revamped it to fit current America.
Duhon and Conque reworked some of the lyrics, re-recorded the song and re-released it under the title, "One Voice 2020".
Faith tells me that One Voice had a purpose for its time, but I believe that it's mission is not quite over, said Duhon.
Just beautiful, Dana. Showcases your beautiful soul, says popular local artist Charlene Howard.
"One Voice" begins it's a new journey in 2020. Asking poignant questions about America's social and economic crises.
