There is a super fun inaugural event coming to Sugar Mill Pond in October, and you don't want to miss it!

The Witches Ride will benefit the Dodi Groves Breast Cancer Fund.

With October being breast cancer awareness month, the people who volunteer for the Dodi Groves group are hoping to raise awareness about the importance of education, screening, and general breast health.

Maybe you don't want to ride a bike? No problem, you can walk the route.

Bernadette Lee and Chad Romero spent some time with Jenny Best and Kate LaBue to talk about the first-ever Witches Ride in Acadiana.

The event will be a two-mile bike ride in costume for you to get our your best witches/warlock garb and celebrate a fun time with your family.

It's only twenty dollars to enter, and all of the money raised for this event will benefit other breast cancer-related programs and services in Acadiana.

The event will be held on Saturday, October 19 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

There will be a Survivors Ceremony from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. celebrate all of our strong and beautiful ladies.

There will be so much for you and your family at Sugar Mill Pond.
