Former Football Coach Les Miles Files Lawsuit Against LSU

Former head football coach Les Miles filed a lawsuit against LSU.

The once proud Tiger has filed a lawsuit against the university after it vacated 37 wins while Miles was the head coach of the LSU Tigers.

As a result, Miles says that LSU has cost him a chance to enter the College Football Hall of Fame.

WVUE reports, "The reduced Miles’ official career record from 145-73 (.665) to 108-73 (.597). The coach no longer meets the .600 career win percentage needed to qualify for the College Football Hall of Fame."

If you're curious, Miles' winning percentage at LSU before the wins were vacated was .665%. And that would have been enough for him to be considered for the College Football Hall of Fame

LSU elected to vacate wins from 2012 - 2015 after the NCAA found that the university violated rules when they paid a former player on the team.

The National Championship that Miles won at LSU in 2007 still holds, yet the wins vacated from those years may have cost the grass-eating coach a shot at the Hall of Fame.
