Lauren Daigle, Louisiana Artists Shine At Grammys [Video]

Louisiana is an incredible hotbed of musical talent. The 61st Grammy awards reinforced the truth of that. KLFY carried part of the event live. Lafayette native Lauren Daigle was nominated for 2 awards, Best Contemporary Christian Music Album, and Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song. She won both. New Orleans native PJ Morton won the award for Best Traditional R & B Performance. Terrence Blanchard won the Grammy for Best Instrumental Composition. I've lived in the northeast, the deep south, and the Rocky mountain west. We, in Louisiana, are truly blessed.
