Large Bobcat Spotted on Trail Camera in South Lafayette

We thought you should be aware of this.

Ted Hebert posted a photo of a large bobcat on social media in hopes that those near this location would be aware of the potential threat.

The above photo was taken by a trail camera set up on E. Broussard Rd. in south Lafayette, by one of Hebert's neighbors.

According to Hebert's social media post, the photo was taken near the 1400 block of E. Broussard Rd., near Native Sun Nursery.

If you have small pets, be sure to keep an eye out for them while they are outdoors and always be aware of your child's surroundings if they are outside the house too.

In recent years we have seen more and more wild animals in and around the city of Lafayette, thus we would like to remind all of you to be aware of your surroundings while in the yard.
