Kraft Recalls American Cheese Slices

The FDA reports that Kraft Foods has voluntarily recalled KraftSingles individually-wrapped slices due to a packaging issue. They say a small strip of packaging film may stick to the slice after the wrapper is removed potentially causing a choking hazard.

This recall is for Kraft Singles American and White American pasteurized prepared cheese product. The product has a 'Best When Used By Date of 29 DEC 15 through 04 JAN 16,' and the Manufacturing Code S54 or S55. You can find the 'Best When Used By Date' and the manufacturing code on both the larger three pound and four pound boxes and on the enclosed individual one pound packages as well.
