Interstate 10 Lane Closures Happening This Weekend

As part of the I-10 Widening Project, DOTD crews will be working in two main areas in Lafayette and St. Martin Parishes - at the Louisiana Avenue and Breaux Bridge exits. This is so workers can perform asphalt operations and pavement replacing in these areas.

LOUISIANA AVENUE

The I-10 eastbound exit ramp at Exit 104 (Louisiana Avenue) will be closed from 8 PM until 6 AM on Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday nights.

DETOUR: I-10 Eastbound to Exit 109 (LA 328 – Breaux Bridge), I-10 westbound via LA 328, continue on I-10 Westbound to Exit 104 (Louisiana Avenue).

INTERSTATE 49

The I-49 NORTHBOUND Entrance Ramp to I-10 EASTBOUND will be closed from 8 PM to 6 AM on Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday nights.

The I-10 WESTBOUND Exit Ramp at Exit 103B (I-49 NORTHBOUND) will be closed from 8 PM to 6 AM on Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday nights. This allows DOTD crews to stripe the new ramp alignment. DETOUR: Utilize the interchange clover leaf ramps by taking Exit 103A (US 167 South exit ramp), Exit 1A (I-10 Eastbound entrance ramp), and I-49 Northbound via Exit 103B.
