House Blown Into Road In Mamou

Sunday morning's severe weather blew a house onto a Mamou road.

Our news partners at KATC were on the scene in Mamou where a house was blown off its foundations and onto a road Sunday morning. The house was originally a storm shelter in Holly Beach that was moved to Mamou. A woman was inside the home when it was blown out onto the road but was not injured. The house was demolished and then moved from the road.
