Group Donates To Shoeboxes For Seniors
A group of coworkers in the Department of Health office made a huge donation to Shoeboxes for Seniors today.
Instead of exchanging gifts within their office, they decided to donate to needy seniors. They delivered over 50 boxes today, to be distributed to needy seniors in Acadiana by the Cajun Area Agency on Aging.
Shoeboxes for Seniors is sponsored by The Blake at Lafayette (400 Polly Lane), which also serves as a drop-off location.
Kudos to the Department of Health office that decided to give back!
