The Recording Academy is honoring the late President George HW Bush by moving the nominations for the 61st annual Grammy Awards from Wednesday, December 5th, to Friday, December 7th.

Wednesday has been declared a National Day of Mourning by President Donald Trump, and the memorial service is taking place today for our 41st President. Federal offices and agencies, Social Security offices, state and local offices and agencies, and all National Parks are closed today.

The Grammy nominations will take place live on 'CBS This Morning' and on Apple Music at 8:30 am ET on Friday. Not all categories will be read live, so a complete list of nominees in all 84 categories will be distributed by the Academy at 8:45 am ET via press release, social media, and Grammy.com.
