Good News: EMTs Mow Elderly Woman’s Lawn In Texas Heat

East Texas Medical EMTs noticed an elderly woman mowing her lawn in danger Texas heat and decided to lend a 'helping push' in - between calls.

When EMTs aboard an East Texas Medical ambulance noticed 98 - year old Margaret Durham mowing her yard in Waco, they became concerned. Not only is Durham elderly and the heat was at dangerous levels, but she also appeared exhausted and was trying to mow a dangerous slope in her yard. The first responders also noticed that Durham looked overheated, so they pulled over and finished mowing her lawn.

“Our job here is for us to help people and that’s what we like doing,” one EMT told Fox 5 Atlanta. “That’s why we’re called to do what we do.”
