Glen Campbell’s Alzheimer’s Has Progressed To Stage Six [VIDEO]

Glen Campbell's wife Kim confirmed in a recent radio interview that his Alzheimer's has progressed to stage six.  The disease has seven stages.

Once, one of the best guitar players of all time, a country music superstar, pop artist and headlined every tabloid when he dated Tanya Tucker, Campbell can hardly communicate with his family these days.  In addition to Alzheimer's, he also has a condition called aphasia which affects the ability to communicate.  About all he can say now is, "I love you".

During the interview, Kim said there are moments when Glen is very hostile.  She commented about the time he gave her a black eye.  She expressed how difficult Alzheimer's is to deal with.

Glen Campbell is now back home with his family and wife of 33 years.  It's hard to believe he was just out on tour not that long ago.
