Debbie Ray’s Eat Lafayette ‘Gotta Try ‘Em’ Top 5 List
One of the things I love about the Eat Lafayette campaign is discovering new local restaurants. I've participated since the first year. As a matter of fact, Bernadette Lee and I ate at every single Eat Lafayette restaurant that year, over a period of about two weeks - lunch and dinner! This year, with over eighty participating restaurants, that wouldn't be possible, but we still do our best! I'm pleased to report that I have eaten at nearly every location on the list, but each year, I find out about several places I've never heard of or never tried. Here's my list of my Top 5 'Gotta Try 'Em List' for 2014.
1Broaddus Burgers
Speedy from Hot 107.9 heads to Broaddus Burgers to try out a Spicy Broaddus for Eat Lafayette.
2Chef Gregory Food Truck
Stephanie Crist got to try the award winning pulled pork sandwich from Chef Gregory Food Truck as part of the 2014 Eat Lafayette campaign
3E's Kitchen
Tai from Planet 105-ONE got a private cooking lesson when he dropped by E's Kitchen for Eat Lafayette 2014.
4Bread And Circus Provisions
JoBo from Planet Radio 105-ONE had the pleasure of tasting the famous PcP Fries from Bread and Circus Provisions as part of Eat Lafayette 2014.
5Straws & Claws
Townsquare DJ Brandon Comeaux from 96.5 KPEL visits Straws and Claws, a participating 2014 Eat Lafayette restaurant to give you an idea of what a visit there is like! Allons manger!
