After his performance on 'Fox and Friends' on Friday morning, the 70th anniversary of D-Day, Chris Daughtry was asked to lead the crowd in a patriotic song and he refused saying he was, "Off the clock" and left the stage.  He has taken a beating on social media.

Daughtry was only supposed to be in the shot with the hosts at the end of the show, but they finished early and needed to fill time, so host Chris Doocy asked Daughtry if he would lead the crowd in a patriotic song.  The crowd was chanting one more song, that's when the comment was made.  Chris Daughtry has apologized.
