Back To School Dates For Acadiana Parish Schools

Good news for parents, probably not so great for kids.

It seems like summer just started yesterday, but we're already four days into August. The new school year is only days away and if you haven't already, now is the time to get your back - to - school shopping done.

Here are the start dates for the new school year in Lafayette Parish and beyond, courtesy of KATC:

August 8th: Vermilion, St. Landry, Acadia, and St. Mary

August 9th: Iberia, Jeff Davis

August 13th: Evangeline

August 14th: St. Martin

August 15th: Lafayette
