Ariana Grande and Kristin Chenoweth teamed up to bless us with a beautiful "You Don't Own Me" cover, which is a song featured in the pop star's favorite movie The First Wives Club.

The track, originally sang by Lesley Gore in 1963, was released on Friday (September 27) as the Broadway legend dropped her seventh studio album, For the Girls, which also features collaborations with Dolly Parton, Jennifer Hudson and Reba McEntire.

Following the song's release, Grande shared a heartfelt message on Twitter.

"I have always loved you and I always will @kchenoweth congratulations on your new album and thank you from the bottom of my heart for having me be a part!" she tweeted. "I truly can’t put into words how much it means to me! I truly can’t believe this is even real."

Chenoweth returned the love and praise, writing, "You are my baby and I love you. I couldn’t be more proud of you. Thank you for blessing the works with your gift. And for being on my record. I love you very much."

Grande also famously recreated the First Wives scene on Ellen last year when she performed her chart-topping single, "thank you, next" for the first time. She dressed in all white alongside her friends and collaborators Tayla Parx and Victoria Monet, as well as exited the stage similar to how Diane Keaton, Goldie Hawn and Bette Midler did in the 1996 film.
