Acadiana Hope For A Cure Society Awards Cancer Survivors [VIDEO/PICTURES]
In the beautiful setting of The Gouguenheim in New Iberia, Acadiana's Hope For A Cure Society presented two Acadiana area student cancer survivors each $1000.00 college scholarships Thursday evening.
Acadiana's Hope For A Cure Society is a local nonprofit organization that provides educational, emotional and health awareness support to women and children of Acadiana that had or are currently fighting cancer. And due to the request of one anonymous donor, Acadiana's Hope For A Cure Society has also begun helping men diagnosed with cancer as well.
Thursday evening the organization honored two families in Acadiana's Hope Night Out with Survivors. Recipients Jordan Beuhlar and Brittni Clements each received college grants.

Guest speakers were to include Payton Murphy ( who was too ill to attend) and Robert Moore. There was great food prepared by volunteers and many in the audience walked away with wonderful door prizes.
