Crab Salad with Tomato and Avocado
This dish sounds complicated, but it's so simple to make. You'll feel like a real Italian chef when you serve Marilyn's Chicken Caprese!
This is a great dish to take to a summer pool party!
Okay, I only say that its weird; I haven't tried any of these 'treats'. I am guessing that I am adventurous enough to do so, though.
A quick search for 'Kracie Happy Kitchen' on Google brings up Do-It-Yourself soft cookies, doughnuts, cupcakes, hamburgers and sushi candy kits. (Yes, sushi candy).
Marilyn has done it again. She has given us another one of her awesome dishes and it is a great dish to serve during the upcoming Lenten season. ENJOY!
Serve this to your special valentine and you'll surely be a winner!
Here is another one of Marilyn's amazing recipes. Perfect for any occasion and SUPER yummy... ENJOY!
Super Bowl Hummus
1 container hummus (any store bought brand will do)
1 bulb of garlic
olive oil
1/3 cup sun dried tomatoes
1/3 cup chopped black olives
1/3 cup crumbled feta cheese
Pita bread
For gatherings where everybody brings a dish, I'm asked to run by the bakery and pick up the bread. But I've decided, I want to start bringing a dessert, too. One that I've made myself. I looked through a couple of cookbooks, but you can't really tell how easy or hard something's going to be to make from reading the recipe- things that sound simple always seem to leave one critical step out- something you should just know but I didn't. So, a few days ago, I asked my facebook friends for ideas for some simple and delicious desserts and I got loads of suggestions to try out! I can't promise these are all original creations, but they sure are easy!
I may have figured it out:
When I got home from work last night, the electricity was out. This is the first time in a long time that I can remember the lights being out, but I was determined to not allow it to ruin my evening.
Last night, after my run, I fried some tomatoes. Home-grown tomatoes (that's what the sign at Guidry's Produce said!). They came out good!
Anyway, after I finished eating, I loaded the dog's food bowls into the dishwasher (which I try to do each week). I went out to the back deck to get their water bowl, and on the way back, my foot started to get really hot, like I had stepped on a hot coal!
I ran across this easy recipe for Roasted Marshmallow Milkshake, sounds delicious!
