The Animal Rescue Foundation of Louisiana is holding a bowling fundraiser this Sunday, July 12 at Acadiana Lanes on Ambassador Caffery.

The fundraiser was created to honor New Iberia resident Marine Lance Corporal Marques Kyle Bogan who died in 2014 in an accidental drowning.

D.R.E.A.M.S. Foundation of Acadiana is hosting the 2nd Annual Camp Unique at The Bayou Church on Kaliste Saloom.

"The Longest Day" is an event to raise funds for and awareness of Alzheimer's. It will be held June 20, 2015, at Maurice Heymann Memorial Park.

There will be a few pet adoption days this Saturday, affording you the opportunity to share your family's love with a rescued pet!

The event is from 11am-3pm and will include live music by Casey Courville and Alyse Young. Cajun Paws Rescue will be accepting food and monetary donations, and will also have a few dogs available for adoption.
