The Huffington Post just posted a story on just how many gallons of water does it take to make a latte.  Yes that little cup of Joe you spend 4 bucks on.

According to the research of Brian Merchant at Planet Green, it takes 53 gallons of water to make one cup latte.  FIFTY THREE!

You may be thinking to yourself, there is no way, this can't be true.  It is!

The sugar, the plastic lid, the sleeve, the cup, the travel time for each element, it's astonishing.  Every single latte you have in a to go cup, took 53 gallons of water to create.

Now think about how many people have a latte every morning.  It is mind blowing!
