There are a few new residents at Zoosiana in Broussard, Louisiana and these gorgeous animals have a new home.

Our friends at Zoosiana have announced they've welcomed three cheetahs to south Louisiana and now we can't wait to see them.

Zoosiana has made so many upgrades to its facilities in recent years, that the experience there is always a pleasure. Now, we have another reason to visit the grounds in Broussard because the cheetahs have arrived.

Not only does Zoosiana offer you and the kids a great place to have fun, but it also educates you and me on the many exotic animals it is home to. Each time we visit Zoosisana I leave there learning something, and now we can't wait to learn more about the cheetahs.

In their introductory social media post, Zoosiana says this about their latest residents, "Cheetahs are known for the distinct dark markings on their face called tear marks, which help reduce glare from the sun. Known as the fastest land animal, cheetahs can run up to 60 miles per hour for short distances."

So, the next time you're at Zoosiana be sure to locate these gorgeous animals and give a nice South Louisiana welcome.

Here are some photos from our friends at  Zoosiana. The staff shared the photos on their social media page as they welcomed their three new residents.
