Major Power Outage in Broussard and Youngsville, Louisiana Area

UPDATE; The power was restored shortly after 7 pm on Saturday evening..

A major power outage has affected the Broussard and Youngsville area.

We are following this developing story, but up to 3,700 people are without power this Saturday evening.

Sllemco is assessing the situation, but up to three substations have been impacted in the area, thus leading to this massive outage.

The good news as of writing this post is that the issue seems to have been identified by the power company.
