You Think These Things Are Saving You Money, But They Aren’t
If you're like me, you like to get as much for your money as possible. There are a number of common practices that many of us think save us money. The Insider says they don't.
Buying in bulk: This usually doesn't work, especially when it comes to food. Americans throw 57% of our food purchases away, usually because of spoilage. My significant other and I bought a deep freeze a few months ago.
Cash back credit cards: Seriously?? They're credit cards!...Enough said.
Buying the cheapest brand: If you have to replace a piece of junk, you've wasted your money.
Subscription services: Are you REALLY using those streaming services, and/ or reading those magazines? If not, you're throwing your money away.
