"New year! New me!" Yeah, right!...The average New Year's resolution lasts less than 2 weeks. Why is that? Perhaps we expect too much of ourselves. The most common New Year's resolution is weight loss. That's a tough one. Take it from me! I've lost & regained hundreds of pounds over the years. Quit smoking? The odds are stacked against you. Tobacco products are chemically engineered to maximize addictiveness. That doesn't mean it can't be done. How do you make resolutions that you can actually stick to? The American Psychological Association says you have to  have realistic expectations. They recommend avoiding a long list. Don't try to make yourself over. Change ONE behavior at a time.
