I've been a Fleetwood Mac fan since my college days.
I saw them at the then LSU Assembly center years ago, the Houston Summit in 1997, and the Centurytel Center in Shreveport  Bossier in 2003. I had the opportunity to meet them at that show.
Christine McVie had left the band five years earlier. I missed hearing her beautiful, haunting ballad, "Songbird," which had been the band's concert finale for years. Christine had decided she was "music'ed out" & left the band in 1998.
Rolling Stone reports Christine misses Fleetwood Mac, and would love to rejoin the band. The composer of "Don't Stop," "You Make Lovin' Fun,' and "Over My Head" recently joined her former band mates onstage in London. She later commented,  "It was amazing, like I'd never left. I climbed back on there again and there they were, the same old faces on stage." She added,  "I miss them all. If they were to ask me I would probably be very delighted … but it hasn't happened so we'll have to wait and see."
Future concert dates for "The Mac" are on hold for now. Bassist John McVie (Christine's ex husband) is undergoing cancer treatment. It was reportedly caught early, and his prognosis is good.
