It's not the first time that I have found diapers in a parking lot.  When I was a youngster, I worked at The Real Superstore on Johnston Street, and I would notice diapers in that parking lot, too.

Why?  Most parking lots have businesses in them, and most businesses have trash cans right outside the door.  Why not just walk over and throw that nasty diaper into the trash can?  Are the parents (or the diaper litterer) embarrassed to throw them away?  Too lazy?  Do they lack civic pride?

Maybe it's a combination of them all, and that looks bad on all of us.  Let's keep it classy, Acadiana.
