As storms moved into south Louisiana on Tuesday afternoon we received reports of hail and even a waterspout in the region.

This waterspout was spotted near Lake Charles, Louisiana as severe thunderstorms swept across the region.

Embedded in these storms were high winds, hail, and dangerous lightning.

If you have any photos of weather-related damage send them to us for use on this site and others.

While the storms may have given us a break in the extreme temperatures, it was a bit concerning with the amount of lighting and hail in the Acadiana region.

Here's another look at the waterspout, from near Hackberry.
