“Up To Here” With Passwords?

A recent survey by Janrain Social Identity indicates 45% 0f Americans have left a website after forgetting their password. When asked "Is it a bother to register on a website when shopping online?" 54% said they may leave a website if they have to register. 17% said they would "Definitely" leave and go to a different site. 25% said they would complete the registration to shop on the website. 4% said they avoid any website that requires them to register.
