(WDSU) COVID-19 cases in southeast Louisiana are on the rise at a startling rate mainly due to the Delta variant, and New Orleans is the metropolitan epicenter of all things COVID. New Orleans businesses have already started to respond. Three well-known popular music establishments are now requiring proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test from the past 72 hours to enter.

Starting this weekend, Tipitina's, Maple Leaf Bar and d.b.a. will not let you in just because you say you were vaccinated or tested negative for COVID-19, you'll need to prove it. You must have your I.D and valid COVID-19 vaccination card or proof that you tested negative in the past 72 hours.
