This Might Be the Proposal That Puts All Others to Shame

It has been said that Disney movie romances have set the bar too high for young girls when they dream of their special day.

For Lee Loechler, that is merely setting a bar.

Lee knew that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with his high school sweetheart, Sthuthi David. However, he wanted the proposal to be something unique and memorable.

What was his big idea? Well, to make a movie of course.

You see, Lee is actually a filmmaker. After deciding just how he wanted his movie proposal to go, he teamed up with professional animator Kayla Coombs. Together they embarked on an incredible six-month journey to create what has to be the most incredible and unique proposal yet.

It all happened on December 30, 2019.

Of course he filmed the entire thing and we are thanking him for every second of it.

Gentlemen, it is really okay if you can't quite reach the bar. Lee set it pretty high. But, if you think that's where he stopped, you are very wrong.

Exactly two years to the day of the proposal, on December 30, 2021, Lee took to Instagram to raise the bar higher.

Kayla Coombs worked her movie magic once again and now I don't know if any man can hold a candle.

This love story definitely has all the feels. What an incredible couple!

I think in general, women hope they simply have their nails done for the occasion. I mean, no one wants to post a two week old manicure to Facebook, right?
