The song is called "The Git Up", and it's one of those tunes that has a country beat, and a Rap beat, and Country lyrics, and rap lyrics, and a dance that is somewhere between line dance and dance-dance.

Blanco Brown grew up in the Atlanta area but would visit with relatives in the rural areas of Georgia where he was exposed to Country music. It looks like that exposure made a lasting impression on him!

It's kind of like a Country version of Cupid's "Cha-Cha Slide".

I'm not certain how to categorize this song, but I do know this: it's good!
