I'm one of those people who won't take a bath during a thunderstorm. I can't really tell you why. I don't remember my Mom ever telling me not to, so I didn't learn it from her. Maybe it comes from my years as a lifeguard and clearing the pool the minute we heard or saw a bolt of lightning. It just seems like a really bad idea to be in the water when there's loose electricity in the area. I asked my facebook friends how they felt about it, and over a hundred people chimed in!
