I saw an interesting tree in Lafayette today, and I have to try to find out what happened to it.
Can you see how most of the tree looks normal, but the tippy-top looks like a separate tree?
If you look closely, just under the part that looks new, there are some dry branches, and then the rest of the tree just looks like a regular tree...
I asked the young lady at the convenience store about the boxes on the trees, and she looked at me like I was crazy. (She is probably right, in all honesty.)
Last week I had the opportunity to fly in a small plane from Lafayette to Marksville and, along the way, we noticed an interesting design on a pond near Marksville.
As I was driving home last night, I saw this thing in the roadway and I had to stop and pick it up. Not because it was a danger to anyone. Not because it was in someone's way. Not only because I was curious as to its purpose, but also because I believe it's in my DNA...
