A recent survey noted the 12 best small towns in Louisiana. Three of those communities are in the part of the state known as Acadiana.

The Youngsville Chamber of Commerce has officially announced that the iconic fast food chain Whataburger will soon be gracing the city of Youngsville, Louisiana.

This stretch of record-breaking heat in south Louisiana has put a strain on air conditioners across the area. And it also has caused some damage to part of one power company's infrastructure.

According to Developing Lafayette, the new digs will be in the former Romacelli/The Pond Bar & Grill at 200 Prescott Blvd Suite 101 in Youngsville's Sugar Mill Pond.

The Waffle House in Youngsville is officially open for business in Sugar Mill Pond and customers are already excited about the brand-new location.

Wineaux, A Sipping Experience returns to Sugar Mill Pond in Youngsville, and it will certainly be a night to gather with friends.

In years past, Youngsville's National Night Out has seen police cruisers, ambulances, fire trucks, SWAT vehicles, police robots, and even a helicopter.

Shows at Sugar Mill Pond begin in March, and shows are scheduled throughout the year.

Festival-goers will be able to sample 20 different wines - the perfect opportunity for you to sample wines to expand your palate!

"Patch at the Pond," presented by Rotary Club of Youngsville, is taking place on Sunday, October 10th from 10 am to 5 pm at Sugar Mill Pond Town Center.

Another great live music series is back.

The public is invited out to Sugar Mill Pond on Saturday, July 3, 2021, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm for a night of great family fun.
