In celebration of October being Breast Cancer Awareness month, The Breast Center of Acadiana and 99.9 KTDY present the 15th Annual Mammosine taking place on Friday, October 28, 2022.

In celebration of October being Breast Cancer Awareness month, The Breast Center of Acadiana and 99.9 KTDY present the 14th Annual Mammosine taking place on Friday, October 22, 2021.

New Orleans, Southeast, Acadiana, and Southwest Louisiana have the highest breast cancer death rates in the state.

It's very important that we continue to educate ladies on the importance of mammograms!

Even if you're not one of our winners, we encourage you to take charge of your health and get your yearly mammograms!

After completing her residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 2014, she chose to sub-specialize in breast radiology and completed a Breast Imaging Fellowship in 2015, also at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and it’s a fact that early detection and prompt treatment save lives. That's why KTDY has teamed up with the Breast Center of Acadiana to give away free mammograms!

After getting our mammograms (two ladies were first-timers,) we were whisked away to indulge on mimosas, wine, and a delicious lunch!

The girls will get their mammies grammed, then celebrate with a fabulous lunch!

Thanks to our wonderful driver, Mr. Bobby, the smart and kind mammography team at Lourdes, the staff at Copeland's, and to everyone who heard our message about breast health and scheduled their mammogram!

The Love Cure Awareness Breast Cancer Fun Walk/Run is set for Saturday, October 31, 2015.
