Imagine looking into your bathroom sink and seeing another pair of eyes looking back at you. What is it? And, how do you get it to leave?

Male frogs in the Louisiana Atchafalaya Basin and in other rivers and streams around the state are turning female.

Heavy rains in the Acadiana area are bringing out snakes, roaches, rats, frogs, insects and even crawfish.

To my surprise, about two weeks ago, all of them disappeared overnight.

There is definitely a little bit of all of us in this young boy.

The festival runs May 10 - 13, 2018 at the Frog Festival Building in Rayne.

These frogs can grow as big as your hand.Simply touching them creates a burning sensation on your skin.

KTDY will be rolling in the parade along with floats, dancers, bands and other vehicles! The Grand Marshal will be Liz from Swamp People!

My frogs had babies!  Out here in the country, frogs are everywhere and I love it!
