Visibility in some parts of South Louisiana will be less than a quarter of a mile until at least mid-morning today.

The Mississippi River is still cool from the cold temperatures upstream, so when the warm air of South Louisiana hits it: KABOOM!

This morning's fog will lead to a threat of showers by later this afternoon and tonight.

In some areas, visibility may be reduced to 1/4 mile or less.

Dense fog is expected along the I-10 corridor this morning. Freezing temperatures could return to South Louisiana by next week.
