SXSW Music Festival Canceled due to Coronavirus Scare

The South by Southwest (SXSW) Music Festival has been canceled due to concerns over the coronavirus.

As of this time, there are no reported cases of COVID-19, the strand of coronavirus that is causing worldwide concern, in or around Austin. The disaster declaration, according to NPR, was made out of an abundance of caution.
