Steve Wiley’s Arklamex Chili Burger
When I got home this afternoon, I was craving a burger, or chili. It's a little warm for that, so, why not a "Chili Burger"? I seasoned 7 oz. ground sirloin with nothing but chili powder, "applied liberally" (That'll get my republican friends up in arms) & melted 2 slices of pepperjack cheese on top. I served it on whole wheat bread with a bed of lettuce & a little mayo. There's a barbecue place in Hot Springs called McClard's. If you're in the area, stop by. Get there early. When they open for lunch there's a line down the street. They have their own line of sauces. I used some McClard's barbecue sauce on this burger. Ca C'est Bon!.
