A reporter once said to Steve Jobs, your kids must really like their iPads.  He said to the guy, they haven't used one.
Jobs said he saw the dangers of too much technology, and he and his wife made a effort to make sure the kids had a limited amount of time with technology.  He saw how it changed his life and didn't want the same to happen to his kids.  He even sent his kids to a school that had NO COMPUTERS.  Kids went outside and played for enjoyment.
We think our kids should have the latest technology every Christmas or birthday.  Steve Jobs would say we're all nuts.  Computers were not supposed to take us to a place of complacency and a hold up in our rooms in front of a monitor mentality.
Jobs probably thought his invention would help the human race, not cause us to not be able to enjoy the world that's right in front of us because we're checking Facebook.  Not be able to enjoy a concert because we're trying to get the last song on YouTube.  And not come out of our rooms to eat with the family because a proposal is due first thing in the morning.
We should all learn from Steve Jobs and limit ourselves and our children when it comes to technology.  Everything is good in moderation...right?
