According to multiple sources including NFL Insider Ian Rappaport, the New Orleans Saints have agreed to a deal with former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant.

Bryant worked out for the Saints along with veteran receivers Brandon Marshall and Kamar Aiken on Tuesday.

The Saints are on a roll but are surprisingly thin at wide receiver after losing speedster Ted Ginn Jr. to a knee injury last month. The Saints picked up Cam Meredith in free agency, but so far he isn't panning out to be what they are looking for with literally no targets in the last three games.

Michael Thomas is a beast, but he and rookie Tre'Quan Smith have been the only productive Saints receivers up to this point.

Bryant has gone unsigned since being released by Dallas back in April. The former Cowboys star receiver just turned 30 two days ago, and although he is past his prime, he believes that he still has gas left in the tank.

Dez has battled foot and knee injuries in recent years which has hampered his production. His decline in production, along with a "fiery" personality that Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones said could sometimes be a "distraction," was among the reasons the Cowboys decided to move on.

Personally, I think that Dez isn't expected to be the "star receiver" in New Orleans, but can definitely compliment a team who is poised for a legitimate Super Bowl run. Oh, and of course there's that guy who plays quarterback for the Saints who's pretty good at throwing the ball around.

The Saints travel to Dallas to play the Cowboys in prime time on November 29.
