Ronald McDonald Is Taking A Break From The McSpotlight

If you were hoping to have Ronald entertain your kids at a McDonald's birthday party, you'll have to wait until the clown craze blows over.

Yahoo News reports that McDonald's Corp. will keep mascot Ronald McDonald out of public appearances for the foreseeable future. The company wants to be "thoughtful in respect to Ronald McDonald's participation in community events" due to the "current climate around clown sightings in communities."
