Road Construction Updates for Lafayette and St. Martinville

The 100 block of Live Oak Blvd. is scheduled to be closed beginning Monday, June 11, 2012 through Friday, June 15, 2012 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 noon each day. Asbury United Methodist is hosting their Vacation Bible School.

Beginning Monday, June 11 the following lane closures will take place in the St. Martinville area during the daytime only – with both lanes opened each night.
La. 96 will be reduced to one lane for road construction between La. 31 and La. 345 (east of St. Martinville). La. 345 will also be reduced to one lane for road construction between La. 96 and the Iberia Parish line. This closure will allow vehicles 11-feet wide or smaller to pass through the construction zone. The road is open for regular traffic but oversize vehicles must detour using La. 679 to La. 96 to La. 31 to La. 86.

Beginning Tuesday, June 12, 2012 the following lanes will be closed from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The outside lane heading southbound on US. 167, Johnston St. between Edwin St. and Coliseum Rd. The outside lane heading southbound on US. 167, Johnston St. between Coliseum Rd. and Cajundome Blvd. The outside lane heading southbound on US. 167, Johnston St. between Westchester Dr. and Emerite Dr.
